Objectives

The partner colleges in this project are College XVII Mlodej Polski in Krakow (Co-ordinator) and Cheadle & Marple 6th Form College in Stockport (partner).
Two main aspects of the theme will be explored: the history of each of the two countries/regions over the last 200 years, and the culture and traditions of the regions concerned( Malopolska and the North-West of England).
Students from each country will research particular aspects of their own country/region in order to share and exchange ideas with each other.
They will consider the following questions:-
-"What is the impact of history and tradition on young people today?"
-"What is the attitude of young people towards the past?"
Various methods of working and presenting will be used: documentary film,, displays, workshops(dance, poetry, cookery), excursions, competitions, interviews and discussion in groups....
The students from each school will collaborate through exchange visits ( student co-ordinators and the full groups) as well as via electronic contact, and the results will be presented on the school websites and in the local press.

N.B. as this is a francophone project, the information on this website with the exception of this section and the comenius project information section will be presented in French.
